With the weather warming considerably, I’ve been out and about enjoying all that nature has to offer. Here are a few photos.
Most days this month, I’ve been wearing the weather-appropriate California Reverie from the higher-end line of Van Cleef & Arpels. It’s a spring and summer staple with a bit of heft. The fresh opening courtesy of neroli and mandarin gives way to a jasmine-focused heart. After some time, the tropical creamy frangipani aspect develops. And the beeswax (honey is not usually something I enjoy, but I do here) combines with vanilla to give the composition some bulk and longevity.
Wonderful captures! Specially the red rose!
Thanks very much, Tetê! I got very lucky with the light in that photo with the rose!
Gorgeous photos. The grass tree is an interesting plant! Great to experience spring in Australia vicariously through your post.
Thank you very much! Indeed they are, not unlike something from a Dr. Seuss book!
Great photos, Daniel. Life is not complete without a bit of honey.
Thank you very much! That’s a good motto to live by!
Love all the florals and greenery, dear Daniel. And perfect scent for this time of year. Super post!
Thank you, Rich!
