Mizensir – Incensum – Dry, woody leather with incense, and a fresh touch of ginger giving the fragrance a zing. Fans of Gucci Guilty Absolute, Jo Malone Bronze Wood and Leather and Comme des Garcons Avignon should be drawn to this one. It certainly isn’t as smoky as Avignon, and it’s a little more subtle than the Gucci. Where this one falls down is in the longevity department. It disappeared from my skin in about 4 hours. In fact, longevity seems to be an issue with all the Mizensir scents I’ve tried. Incensum is well worth testing though and for lovers of dry woody, smoky scents one they should enjoy. A very well done incense.
Mizensir – For Your Love – This one reminds me of BR540. I’m not the biggest fan of BR540, but For Your Love is certainly a more wearable and a better version of the MFK. Fruity sweet raspberry and at the top, becoming musky as it goes along. The sweetness in here is very well balanced though with the ambergris, benzoin and patchouli notes combining very nicely to give the scent some added depth and development. 4-6 hours longevity on skin, with moderate projection. Very nice work from the extremely prolific Alberto Morillas.
Have you tried any of these scents from Mizensir?
